Abstract:

On 9 July 2015, Barbara Ertter collected what she believes to be Mirabilis linearis near Menan Buttes. She sent a photo to Richard Spellenberg, Emeritus Professor at New Mexico State University, and he agreed with the determination. The specimen being Mirabilis linearis, is a new record for Idaho, and should be added to the rare plant list. Electronic correspondence includes discussion document and photographic images of the plant and immediate habitat.
