Species Account:
The bird was dead on the side of the road. May have collided with a power line. I didn't actually salvage the bird, as I had been told on the phone not to touch dead TRSWs. However, when I entered the species name for this report, it comes up as a salvageable species. What is the truth? If it is illegal to touch dead TRSWs, as I was told on the phone, then this species should not appear as salvageable on your website. Can you please email me at birder0288@gmail.com and clarify this issue for me? Thank you.
