Date Notes:
At 2:40am We were called by our friends Glen and Jenny Heiner who just collided with a deer on their way home from work. I arrived with my wife and saw a white tailed deer that was barely a year old on the road. It was apparent that its back near its pelvis was broken. There were other signs of internal damage like blood from it lungs that contained bubbles. I dispatched the animal with a 7.62, 39 round and then cut its throat/veins. The animal was brought back to my residence where we butchered it. A fish and game officer did arrive and examined the body of the animal. Informed us to not shoot the animal next time but call them instead. This is to make sure we are not lying about the collision. This is my report. Glen and Jenny have all the meat salvaged from the White tailed deer at their house.
