Species Account:
White tail deer. Young female. My husband was driving us home from church at approximately 8:30 pm on November 27th 2016. Neither the driver nor any of the passengers were able to see the deer until right before she ran into the side of the Dodge Durango that we were in. She was at a dead run with her head down and there was no time to stop. My husband narrowly missed a second deer that was with the doe that ran into us. She has a small ears, a small tail and a short nose, along with the fact that she is short, which leads us to believe that she is young. The deer is a typical white tail female. She has the typical brown and white coloring in the typical areas for those colors. The only behavior that we saw, was that she was running from an area next to a house and may have been spooked by something since she was at a dead run and had her head down as she ran. There are no identifiable features that would distinguish this deer from any other white tail doe of her age.
