Species Account:
Young male. Observed 20 sage grouse in the area two days prior, came across this roadkill at about 9:15 AM 8/28/2015. Was evident it had been struck that morning. Was likely traveling from an alfalfa field from the east side of the road to sagebrush/grass on the west side of the road. It's gullet (I think that's what its called) was completely stuffed with alfalfa. See attached photo.
