2nd hand report - Recreation specialists from Idaho City - road and trail maintenance work. Witnessed two pups that they believe were wolf pups. They went into/came out of an old culvert, possibly being used as a den, on the 341C road, overlooking middle/lower Crooked River. See Map. They were less than 30 yds from the site when they witnessed the individuals. They noted they were 'larger, and more robust' than coyote pups they normally see.
