Species Account:
Color: Brownish Grey. Size: My guess would be, 60-70 LB. Behavior: It was Just trying to cross the road. Seemed normal to me for a mule deer. Identifiable Features: Huge Ears, White Tail.
I was driving on HWY 95 when a grown doe and then two small mule deer ran across the road. I hit the brakes and was able to avoid the grown doe and the last small one. My vehicle struck the middle one and ran it over. I found a place to pull off and checked for damage to my vehicle. Finding no major damage, I turned around and went back. The deer was in the road dead so, I picked it up and came home with it.
