Species Account:
Animal appeared to be a young doe, slightly over 100 lbs live weight. Udders were full of milk, and was surprisingly plump for the time of year, and to be nursing young. Interestingly, there were no ticks on the animal at the time of field salvage. Doe was a typical bright reddish-brown summer coloration with a very thin hair coat. She appeared very healthy prior to her demise. The animal was salvaged after another party hit/killed her with a motor vehicle. The collision was not observed.
