Sited 6/11/15 on Pearson Trail Head crossing the road near Hiawatha Trail in St. Joe Ranger District. Sighted again 6/12/15 inside Loop Ck Camp Ground near Hiawatha Trail in St. Joe Ranger District--(Many people were in the camp with music playing. Wolf continued toward the people until one man fired a gun into the air; then wolf left.) Reported to St. Joe Ranger District, Avery Office (208-245-4517) on 6/17/15. Wolf was multicolored with some silver in coat; they are sure it was a wolf and not a coyote. They thought it best to shoot a gun off rather take the time to take a photo because it was approaching casually without fear.
