Species Account:
One animal moving down paved highway northward toward Heise Bridge observed from barnyard mid morning 5/11/2015. The animal was mature in size, grey in color, coat somewhat rough and appeared to be traveling through the region, very shy and possibly looking for other pack members of new territory. I could not determine sex and it appeared to have no collar.
I could not believe a wolf this low to civilization, but very resolved it was not a coyote. I have seen wolves (Black) higher on our range years ago, but not any this low.
