Species Account:
Young male Mule Deer. We did not hit the animal, but saw a group of four scared and running from one side of the Higway (52) near Black Canyon Dam. We were on a family drive. The animals were spooked and we saw them nearly get hit. On our way home through the same route we saw that one animal had been hit and was dead on the side of the road. We knew that it could not have been there more than a couple hours so we called the Emmett Sheriff Dispatch and asked if we could take the animal. They contacted someone to ask and we were told to report it to you asap. It has been about 17 hours since we took the animal.
