Anadromous Fish Hatcheries
The Anadromous Fish Hatchery Database is a cooperative effort among state, tribal, federal and corporate fish and wildlife agencies in the Snake River Basin to develop and implement common descriptions and metrics for scientific information collected at salmon and steelhead fish hatcheries. Data are collected and reported using a standard format, stored digitally, and shared among cooperators to facilitate co-management of the region's fish stocks and fisheries. Summaries of these data can be provided digitally to shared regional databases such as StreamNet and the Regional Mark processing Center.
The Anadromous Fish Hatchery Database project has recently been moved to the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission. Any questions about the database or project should be directed to their help line at 208-398-DATA.
