Directions: In Midvale (US 95/Old Hwy Rd), R (E) on Old Hwy Rd; R on Crane Creek Rd; travel ~4 mi; R on Crane Creek Reservoir Rd; follow to reservoir.

Description: Surrounded by sagebrush and grasslands, Crane Creek Reservoir has the potential to attract a number of birds due to its arid surrounding. During the winter, Greater Sage-Grouse, Red-tailed, Ferruginous, and Rough-legged Hawks, Golden and Bald Eagles can be seen. The best birding is March-June when American White Pelican, Western and Least Sandpipers, Ross’s and Snow Geese, Green-winged and Cinnamon Teal, Ring-necked Duck, Canvasback, and scaup can be found.
