Description: Creston Valley is a mosaic of marshes, mature cottonwoods, rich agricultural lands, and a place of international importance. Riparian willows and dogwood shrubs are host to songbirds such as Yellow Warbler, Black-headed
Grosbeak, Eastern Kingbird, and Cedar Waxwing. Tall black cottonwoods provide nesting for owls, raptors, herons, and
ducks. Long-billed Curlew, Bobolink, Savannah Sparrow, and Western Meadowlark can be seen in the agricultural fields.
