Directions: From the town of St. Maries travel south on state highway 3 to the junction of highway 6. Turn west (right) on highway 6 and travel about 7 miles. Turn north (right) onto the John's Creek Road.

The main Peterson Point Road and John Creek Roads are gated and are restricted to ATV traffic only. These main roads are designated by Yellow mile marker signs. The Peterson Point Road joins the John's Creek Road at Mile Marker 14, and ATV access ends at the 24 Miler Marker on the John's Creek Road. All other roads are walk-in access only. Hancock Forest Management (HFM) and Molpus Timberlands Management (MTM) contractors and employees MAY be behind a closed gate for work purposes only. Please do not block gates. Do not park in front of any gates. HFM and MTM may have active operations behind gates during the hunting seasons. HFM and MTM contractors and company personnel may be behind the closed gates and may find it necessary to move any vehicle blocking their passage.
