I understand deer can be hunted in the Fort Boise WMA. How does one get a tag for this?
the way i understand the regulations is that Moose, Sheep, and Goat are special controlled hunts because they are once in a lifetime harvest and that you can applly for a Deer, Elk, Bear, Lion, or Turkey contolled hunt also in the same season.
The Mandatory Harvest Reports Dashboard allows one to view, filter and graph raw uncorrected harvest report submissions.
Updated nightly, this dashboard provides summary numbers for harvest, success and reporting of deer, elk and antelope hunts.
A friend of mine stumbled across a salt block in the mountains of unit 39, on public land. We figure its considered baiting; however, don't know the legalities - are we allowed to hunt the area if its removed, and if not, how far away from the area do we have to be to be considered legal ourselves? The specific area is one we hunt every year for elk and deer.
I've heard some folks saying that IDF&G is prohibiting shotguns during the short range weapon deer season in unit 63A, from Oct 10-31. Is this true...?
I would like to know the details so I can get my arrows set up accordingly.
