A: There is no restriction on the number of rounds a shotgun can hold for upland game hunting. The restrictuion of 3 shells applies only to migratory birds.
A: If you are hunting migratory game birds (waterfowl, doves) you cannot hunt with a shotgun capable of holding more than 3 shells unless it it plugged with a one-piece filler which cannot be removed without disassembling the gun.
