Q: can someone get a hunting license if they have a felony and if so can they use black powder in Idaho.
A: The individual in this case must contact their lawyer or the court to determine if they can use a weapon. If the felon is barred from using a weapon this applies to all hunting equipment including muzzleloader and archery equipment.
