Can you use Lumenok nocks on your arrow?

Question:

There are nocks for the end of your arrows that light up when you shoot. I have been researching them and I found out they didn't have a battery in them. So Are They Legal in the state of Idaho?

Answer:

No, they cannot be used in Idaho.

A few years ago, the Department developed a proposal that would have allowed the use of lighted nocks while bowhunting for big game. Public input received was split between supporting and not supporting the proposal. Additionally, the majority of public testimony received by the Idaho Fish and Game Commission recommended against the proposal. Ultimately, the Commission decided to not adopt the Department's proposal. Part of the Commission reasoning was to maintain the original intent of primitive weapons hunting by limiting the use of technological advancements.
