Computer-based courses designed for self-motivated students.
Internet course students must: — have internet access, an adequate computer and printer and; — be at least 10 years of age to participate. However, this course is NOT recommended for students under 14 years of age because of it's increased level of difficulty.
There are two internet course options. Upon successful completion of either internet course examination, print the required Hunter Education Internet Course Voucher and use the voucher number to sign up / register for an Internet Course Field Day.
Also, bring the printed voucher to the Field Day — it is required.
The Field Day includes a short course review, final examination and a live-fire and safe firearm handling exercise.
There is a fee of $8 for the Field Day (online sign-up for the Field Day includes an additional convenience fee of $1.31) and both online course providers charge a fee at the end of their courses (see costs in boxes below).
