This computer-based course is designed for self-motivated individuals with good reading and comprehension skills.
To participate in an archery only hunt a bowhunter must complete a Bowhunter Education Course or provide proof that a valid archery permit was previously held in Idaho or another state.
To take the course on the online you must: — have internet access, an adequate computer and printer and; — be at least 10 years of age to participate.
Because of an increased level of difficulty, this course is not recommended for students under 14 years of age.
Individuals must complete the internet course, successfully pass the internet examination and complete an internet course Field Day. The Field Day includes a four-hour classroom review, a final examination and field simulation activities.
Upon successful completion of the internet course examination, print the required course completion certificate, and use the certificate number to register for a Field Day.
Also, bring the printed voucher to the Field Day — it is required.
Cost: $30 per individual for the internet course and an additional $8 for the Field Day (online registration for the Field Day includes an additional convenience fee of $1.24).
