Hunter Education Workbook Course

Like the internet courses, the Hunter Education workbook course is designed for self-motivated students with good reading and comprehension skills.


  • Because of its increased level of difficulty, this course is not recommended for students under 14 years of age.
  • Students must be at least 10 years of age to take this course.
  • Students must complete the student manual, answer approximately 90 questions, have their work verified by Fish and Game staff, and then attend a Field Day which includes a final examination, live-fire and safe firearm handling.
  • Register for a workbook course and Field Day at a Fish and Game office.
  • Cost: $8.00 per student.
