Hunter / Bowhunter Education Field Day

A Field Day is required after completing the hunter or bowhunter education internet course or the workbook course. Common field day subjects for the courses include:
  • hunting ethics
  • sportsmanship, survival and first aid
  • idaho hunting rules and regulations
  • wildlife conservation and management
  • state final examination

The hunter education course also covers:
  • safe firearm handling techniques
  • participation in a live fire exercise

The bowhunter education course also covers:
  • tree-stand safety
  • shot placement
  • blood trailing
Hunter education internet field day.


Cost for the field day is $8.00 (online registration includes an additional $1.24 convenience fee).
