Call for User Presentations

This is a call for abstracts of presentations to be considered as part of the 23rd Annual Northwest GIS User Conference. The user presentations are an opportunity to showcase your work and share your knowledge and experience with the user community.

This year’s conference focuses on using server technology to collect and disseminate spatial information, and providing improved customer service by making data accessible. We are particularly interested in presentations involving GIS and web technology; however we encourage submissions on all GIS topics. Presentations will be organized into themes based on submissions received. Time limitations may not allow all submissions to be included in the program. Topics from past conferences have included:

Accepted abstracts will be published as part of the conference agenda and on the conference Web site. Submitting you abstract as early as possible will help us organize the program and will improve the chance of your presentation being included.


Submission Guidelines

  • Titles should not exceed 25 words.
  • Abstracts should not be longer than 250 words.
  • User presentations are intended to be a forum to share knowledge and experience, not to advertise or promote a product, service, or company.
  • Do not write in all CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • No bullet points or numbering should be used.
