Five years ago, you couldn't explain what you did for a living.  Today, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become an integrated part of our daily lives.  

The 2008 Northwest GIS User Conference will focus on the technologies and services that are bringing GIS to everyone.

Serving the World:

• Using server technology to collect and disseminate spatial information
• Improving customer service by providing geographic data through the internet 
• Literally "serving the world" represented by cartographic products and mapping services

Well, all that and an excuse to eat ice cream.
