Area Description
Beginning at the town of Avery; then east on Road #218 to the intersection with Road #338; then north on Road #338 to Quarles Peak; then north and west on Road #326 to the intersection with Moon Pass Road, #456; then south on Moon Pass Road to intersection with the Hammon-Kyle Divide Trail, #489; then north and west to Cedar Mountain; the south on Cedar Mountain Trail #9, to Storm Mountain; then south on Road #1934 to Avery, the point of beginning. NOTE: In addition to the above described area, mountain bike tours may be conducted on that portion of the Hiawatha Mountain Bike Trail that extends from Roland Summit on the Idaho/ Montana stateline and the St. Paul Pass Tunnel south and southeast to its intersection with Forest Road #326 in Sec. 18, T46N, R7E, BM, and the existing portion of the above area description. RESTRICTIONS: 20 user days for spring bear hunting; 40 user days for archery hunting; 20 user days for general big game hunting season; 60 user days for late season hunts.

Beginning at the confluence of Marble Creek and the St. Joe River; then upstream on Road #321 to the junction with Road #216 (Sec. 20, T44N, R3E, BM); then easterly on Road #216 to the junction with Road #760; then south and east on Road #760 and #301 to Moses Butte and Road #363; then east on Road #363 to the junction with the Montana Ridge Trail near Stubtoe Peak (Sec. 33, T43N, R6E, BM); then northerly on the Montana Ridge Trail to its intersection with the St. Joe River at Turner Flat; then downstream on the St. Joe River to the point of beginning.

(SJ2) St. Joe River - Red Ives to Avery.

North Fork of the St. Joe River from Moon Pass to Loop Creek. Group size is limited to four (4) clients per day.

Hooper Jr. private property in Bonner County, and the property is more clearly defined as the N1/2 NE1/4 NE1/4, Sec. 22, T54N, R3W, BM, except that portion laying east of the existing county road; the N1/2NE1/4NE1/4, Sec. 22, T54N, R3W, BM, less any portion thereof lying within the county road right-of-way.

Beginning at the town of Avery; then north on Road #1934 to Storm Mountain; then north on Arid Peak Trail #173 to Cedar Mountain; then east along the Hammond-Kyle Divide Trail #489 to Hammond Point; then east to the Old County Road #1997; then north along Road #1997 to the junction with Road #456 and Road #326; then east along Road #326 to Bear Creek; then north along Road #506 to Roland Summit; then northwest along the Idaho-Montana Stateline to Bullion Pass; then southwest along Road #507 to the junction with Road #456; then northwest along Road #456 to Moon Pass; then west along the St. Joe and Coeur d’ Alene Divide to the junction of Trails #16 and #226; then south along Trail #226 to Road #1907; then south along Road #1907 to the Mastodon Mountain Road; then east along the Mastodon Mountain Road and Trail #165 to its junction with Trail #159; then northeast along Foolhen Mountain Trail # 158 to Road # 225; then south along Road #225 to FH-50; then east along FH-50 to the beginning at Avery.

Snowmobile tours may be conducted on selected routes situated on the Panhandle National Forest. These routes include all groomed snowmobile trails on the Ferman and Wallace Ranger District, and specific routes on the St. Maries including Forest Road #382, #301, #3325, #1475, #382 near Hemlock Butte, #397 and the O'Donnel Peak Loope, #201, #456 to Moon Pass then along the hydrologic divide to Kelloge Saddle, and State Highway 50 from Avery to the junction with Gold Creek.
