Area Description
Beginning at Black Lake (Sec. 3, T32N, R2W, BM); then northerly on Trails 214, 189, and 101 (124) via Emerald Lake, Horse Heaven Lookout to Hibbs Cow Camp (Sec. 9, T23N, R2W, BM); then on Trail 112 down Little Granite Creek to the Snake River, OR alternatively: Beginning at Black Lake; then northerly on Trail 214, 189, and 101 (124) via Emerald Lake, Horse heaven Lookout to juncture with Trail 114; then on Trail 114 down Two Creek and Granite Creek to the Snake River. (Payette National Forest Map-West Half-1983 and Nez Perce National Forest Map-1981)[F&G Units 18,22 & 23]
RESTRICTIONS:
(1) Both trail route alternative are subject to the restriction suggested by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game in its letter of May 15, 1985.
(2) NO fishing may take place at Black Lake. All other lakes area to have no more than ten (10) angler days per month.

Area Description
Beginning at the confluence of the Snake River and Granite Creek (Sec. 12, T23N, R3W, BM); then upstream on Granite Creek and the IDF&G Mgmt Unit 18/22 boundary to the junction with the hydrologic divide east of Cliff Mountain; the up the hydrologic divide to Cliff Mountain and south to Oxbow Creek; then westerly down Oxbow Creek and Deep Creek to the confluence with the Snake River at Hells Canyon Dam; then downstream on the Snake River to the point of beginning. (Nez Perce National Forest Map #6, 1982)
NOTE: This authorization is only for providing drop camp services for individuals wanting access from the Snake River to F&G Units 18 and 22.
