Description: Lying along Big Cottonwood Creek, which drains from the South Hills, Big Cottonwood WMA is a premier place to see Idaho’s juniper country birds: Juniper Titmouse, Plumbeous Vireo, Western Scrub-Jay, Bushtit, Gray Flycatcher, and Ash-throated Flycatcher. Glimpses of introduced gamebirds can be quite productive. Ring-necked Pheasant, California Quail, Chukar, Gray Partridge, and Wild Turkey can be seen.
