Description: Overlooking southwest Idaho’s Treasure Valley, the World Center for Birds of Prey offers visitors an overview of The Peregrine Fund’s national and international programs. With projects in over 55 countries, the Center is home to conservation projects for many of the world’s rarest birds of prey. Many Peregrine Falcons were bred at this facility and realeased nation-wide. Now, after the removal of the species from the Endangered Species list, the organization continues to successfully breed and release Aplomado Falcons and California Condors in the U.S. Live raptors and educational displays are highlights of the visitor center.
