Some sites have been designated as "subloops."
These sites are usually extensive driving tours through
scenic parts of Idaho. The birding may not be quite
as productive as other sites, but the scenery, unique
habitat, and birding opportunities for the entire trip,
make these sites worth your while. Many subloops are
gravel/dirt road adventures that must be planned for in
advance. Four-wheel drive and high-clearance vehicles
are not generally needed, but might make your trip
more comfortable in some cases.
