Only deer without antlers or with antlers shorter than 3 inches may be taken in any season which is open for antlerless deer only.

Restrictions

In response to a wildfire that burned about 75 percent of the Tex Creek Wildlife Management Area near Idaho Falls, Idaho Fish and Game is offering special controlled hunts with 500 antlerless deer tags and 500 antlerless elk tags to be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 a.m. (Mountain Time) on Oct. 13. That portion of Unit 69 north and east of the following boundary: beginning at Idaho Falls on US Hwy 91, then east on Sunnyside Road to the Grays Lake-Long Valley-Bone Road, then southeast to the intersection of Units 66,69, and 66A at Grays Lake Outlet. Area Size: 329,952 acres
