Hunt Area 33-1

Hunt areas are numbered sequentially by year and species. The unfortunate result is that a 2010 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 may not have the same boundary as a 2009 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 or even 2010 Elk Hunt Area 1-1. To be clear, always check the hunt area boundary to see if they match. For querying historical statistics you can use the huntplanner, drawing odds search and harvest statistics search tools on this site which do a rough match of historical hunt areas by units, species, weapons and other factors to allow comparison.

Beginning at the Unit 33 boundary on the Alder Creek Road (Forest Road 615) then west and north along the unit 39/33 boundary to Banks, then north on the unit 32/33 boundary to Smiths Ferry, then south on Forest road 689 to Murray Saddle, then north along the watershed divide between the North Fork and the Middle Fork of the Payette River to Forest Road 696 (West Fork of Scriver Creek), then east on Forest Road 696 to Forest Road 693 (Scriver Creek), then south and east on Forest Road 693 to Forest Road 698 (Middle Fork Road), then south on Forest Road 698 to Forest Road 642 (Smith Creek), and then south and east on said road to Forest Road 668a (Cow Creek), then west on Forest Road 668a to Forest Road 668 (Anderson Creek) to Highway 17 at Garden Valley, then east on Highway 17 to Forest Road 615 (Alder Creek Road), then south on said road to the unit boundary, the point of beginning.
