Area Names:
Hunt Area 22-1
Hunt areas are numbered sequentially by year and species. The unfortunate result is that a 2010 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 may not have the same boundary as a 2009 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 or even 2010 Elk Hunt Area 1-1. To be clear, always check the hunt area boundary to see if they match. For querying historical statistics you can use the huntplanner, drawing odds search and harvest statistics search tools on this site which do a rough match of historical hunt areas by units, species, weapons and other factors to allow comparison.
That portion of Unit 22 described as follows: Beginning at the junction of U.S. 95 and the West Fork Weiser River Road (FR 127), then north on FR 127 to Grouse Creek Road (FR 123), then northwest on FR 123 to the watershed divide between Lick Creek and Lost Creek drainages to Lick Creek Lookout, then west on Unit 22 boundary to the Snake River, then south on the Snake River to State Highway 71, then southeast on State Highway 71 to Cambridge, then north on U.S. 95 to the point of beginning.
