Hunt areas are numbered sequentially by year and species. The unfortunate result is that a 2010 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 may not have the same boundary as a 2009 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 or even 2010 Elk Hunt Area 1-1. To be clear, always check the hunt area boundary to see if they match. That portion of Unit 17 north of the Selway River from Fog Mountain Road (Forest Service Road 319) upstream to and including the west side of the Moose Creek drainage upstream to the mouth of, but excluding, the North Fork Moose Creek drainage.
