Hunt areas are numbered sequentially by year and species. The unfortunate result is that a 2010 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 may not have the same boundary as a 2009 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 or even 2010 Elk Hunt Area 1-1. To be clear, always check the hunt area boundary to see if they match. That portion of Unit 16 south of the Selway River, and west of the O'Hara Creek Road (Forest Service Road 651), and that portion of Unit 15 north of the following boundary: Beginning at the junction of the South Fork Clearwater River with Forest Service Road 244, then east along Forest Service Road 244 to Forest Service Road 1106 to its junction with Forest Service Road 284.
