Area Names:
Hunt Area 52A
Hunt areas are numbered sequentially by year and species. The unfortunate result is that a 2010 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 may not have the same boundary as a 2009 Deer Hunt Area 1-1 or even 2010 Elk Hunt Area 1-1. To be clear, always check the hunt area boundary to see if they match. For querying historical statistics you can use the huntplanner, drawing odds search and harvest statistics search tools on this site which do a rough match of historical hunt areas by units, species, weapons and other factors to allow comparison.
That portion of Unit 52A within the following boundary: Beginning at the junction of the Jim Brown Bridge Road and Highway 93/26, then east along the Jim Brown Bridge Road to the Shale Butte Road, then east along the Shale Butte Rd. to the Carey-Kimama Road, then south along the Carey-Kimama Road to East 570 South Road, then west along the East 570 South Road to the 600 West Road, then south along the 600 West Road to Highway 24, then west along Highway 24 to Highway 93/26, then north on Highway 93/26 to the point of beginning.
