2009 Steelhead Count

Bonneville / Lower Granite Dams


Steelhead counts ended in December 15, 2008 and are scheduled to resume in March, 2009 at Lower Granite dam. Steelhead currently passing Bonneville are primarily winter run fish that spawn in tributaries downstream of the Snake River. Steelhead bound for Idaho have already passed Bonneville Dam.


Counts include both hatchery and wild origin steelhead.
