General Information
The Snow Peak Wildlife Management Area (WMA) was acquired from the Plum Creek Timber Company in 1990 to expand back-country hunting and fishing opportunities available to Idaho sportsmen. The 12,055 acre acquisition is intermingled in a checkerboard pattern with 20,000 acres of National Forest land and is managed cooperatively by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) and the Idaho Panhandle National Forests (IPNF).
