Visiting Hours - Boundary Creek WMA is open year-round. No formal visiting hours have been established. Contact WMA management personnel for current conditions. The public survey is being evaluated for establishment of visiting hours.
Access for the Disabled - For persons with disabilities, access within Boundary Creek WMA varies by area. Visitors with special needs are encouraged to contact WMA management personnel to determine which areas are most suitable for physically challenged visitors. Restrooms meet ADA specifications. In all cases, visitors are encouraged to assess their own abilities before entering Boundary Creek WMA.
Vehicles/Parking - Use of motorized vehicles is restricted to existing public roads and the turn around where the main access road ends at the Kootenai River. These restrictions protect the habitat and minimize wildlife disturbance. Please park only in designated areas.
Area Restrictions - No areas are restricted in Boundary Creek for foot traffic. WMA personnel encourage the public to be aware of possible habitat damage and use good judgement.
Hunting/Fishing - All hunting, fishing and trapping seasons and bag limits authorized by the Idaho Fish and Game Commission that are applicable to the surrounding area apply on the WMA
Camping - No overnight camping is allowed on the WMA.
Fires/Firewood - Fires are not permitted on Boundary Creek WMA. Firewood cutting occurs by permit only and is limited. Contact WMA management personnel for more information.
Wildlife Observation/Photography - All areas are open to wildlife observation and photography. A mowed hiking and bike trail is maintained to make wildlife viewing areas easily accessible.
Pets - Pets must be leashed or under close control at all times on Boundary Creek WMA, with the exception of bird dogs during hunting seasons. The release or abandonment of domestic animals on Boundary Creek WMA is strictly prohibited.
