Wildlife viewing, fishing, photography, hiking, and hunting are just some of the outdoor activities available at Blackfoot River WMA. Because vehicle access to the WMA is restricted, visitors must enter the WMA from parking areas along established roads. Deer and elk hunting are available on Blackfoot River WMA lands. Upland game bird hunting for blue and ruffed grouse can be good in years of high production. Waterfowl hunting for Canada geese and ducks is also available. Other WMA uses include sightseeing, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. |
