Billingsley Creek Fisheries

Brown and rainbow trout inhabit Billingsley Creek. IDFG does not stock Billingsley Creek with rainbow trout. However, several private fish hatcheries are located upstream from BCWMA and rainbow trout escape from these facilities increasing the chance for fishing success.

Approximately 8,000 brown trout fingerlings are stocked into the uppermost end of BCWMA on an annual basis by IDFG. Foot access to Billingsley Creek is difficult due to standing water and thick vegetation in the wetland.
