Who May Apply

State Wildlife Grants Program

Applicants must demonstrate the ability and competence to complete the proposed project. Eligible applicants include:

• Private Individuals / Landowners
• Schools, Universities, and Other Educational Institutions
• Non-Government Organizations
• Local, State, and Tribal Agencies

If there are an insufficient number of qualified projects, Fish and Game reserves the option to fund state-sponsored wildlife conservation projects that meet the State Wildlife Grant (SWG) eligibility requirements.
