Requesting Information About At-risk Plants and Animals?

NOTE:

1) Potential impacts.  The Idaho CDC cannot provide comment on potential impacts to fish and wildlife resources that might be caused by a project.   For information on potential impacts, contact the specific Idaho Department of Fish and Game Regional Environmental Staff Biologist in the geographic area of the project.

2) Construction companies.  Treasure Valley construction companies and contractors who are complying with county ordinances in regard to wildlife issues or who are complying with EPA wastewater issues need to contact the Environmental Staff Biologist, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Southwest Region (phone 465-8465) for information on impacts of projects to wildlife and plants, including impacts to at-risk species.

3) Environmental consultants.  On a project-by-project basis, the Idaho CDC can provide information about known locations of Threatened, Endangered, Candidate, and at-risk plants and animals.  (At-risk species, also known as Species of Greatest Conservation Need, are defined and discussed in the Idaho Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy.)

Please be aware that a fee might be assessed for information depending on the geographic scope of your request.
