South Fork Salmon Season

Fishing for salmon on the South Fork of the Salmon River is a special Idaho experience. This year the season starts on June 28th and will continue until sport anglers catch their quota. Fishery managers estimate sport anglers allotment to be between 250 to 400 summer chinook salmon, similar to last year's fishery.
