Deer on the Road

You can see their footprints in the snow and trails leading up to the edge of the road. But most of us see deer only when we almost hit them with our cars.

Two particularly treacherous places for drivers and wildlife this winter are along Warm Springs Avenue and State Highway 21. So much so, law enforcement agencies stepped in to encourage drivers to slow down for wintering wildlife.
