Nonresident Hound Hunter Application
Applications for Nonresident Hound Hunter permits are now being accepted. Applications must be received at the Idaho Fish and Game Headquarters office no later December 1, 2007. Please mail your application and payment to:
Idaho Fish and Game
Attn: Hound Hunter Permit Application
P.O. Box 25
Boise, ID 83707
Applications must be received in the headquarters license section by December 1, 2007. Any application received after December 1, will not be included in the drawing.
If you are successful in drawing a permit, we will issue the items requested and mail them to you. If you are unsuccessful in drawing a permit, your money will be returned to you unless requested otherwise on your application.
Please check the box above your name on the application if you would still like to have a nonresident hunting license issued to you even if you do not draw a Hound Hunter permit.
Hound hunters may apply with a partner, but they may submit only one application per group. A second choice is optional. For example, a hunter may select a Lolo Zone hunt area 10-1 as a first choice, and statewide as a second choice. If the application is drawn, and the applicant’s first choice is filled, we will then check to see if a permit is available for the second choice.
Any permits left over after the drawing will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning December 15, 2007 at 10 a.m. Mountain Time.
Middlefork Hound Hunter permits, valid in units 20A, 26, and 27, are unlimited.
Leftover permits and Middlefork permits may be purchased through any vendor, Fish and Game regional office, by mail, with a credit card by calling 1-800-554-8685, or online here.
