Mountain Lion Harvest 2007-2008

Mountain lion harvest in parts of southern Idaho is managed by limiting the number of female mountain lions that may be harvested.

 Closed Unit(s) 

• Unit 39 - Closed 1/22/08 to the taking of female mountain lions. It is still open for male harvest.
• Units 43, 44, 48, 49 are closed as of 2/11/08 to the taking of all mountain lions. For the purpose of dog training, a pursuit-only season will remain open until March 31.
• Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 4A, 5, 6, 7 and 9 are closed as of 2/16/08 to the taking of all mountain lions. For the purpose of dog training, a pursuit-only season will remain open until March 31.
