Idaho Conservation Data Center Products and Fees

Adobe Acrobat Reader Online files are created in PDF file format and require Adobe Acrobat Viewer (version 5.0 or above) to view or print. They are produced this way to keep the online display as close as possible to the printed version. Adobe Acrobat® ReaderTM is free, and freely distributable, software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. You can download the free reader directly from Adobe. Acrobat and the Acrobat logo are trademarks of Adobe Systems Incorporated.

One-time project-specific requests (2 general categories)

Projects: small landscape areas.
Products: species lists, occurrence records, or GIS shapefiles.
Fees: $125 minimum charge, then an additional $50 per hour after the first ½ hour.

Projects: large portions of the state.
Products: GIS shapefiles.
Fees: $1000 to $2500 depending on size of land area involved.
Other: Requires a signed data use agreement. View/print the data use agreement.

Annual GIS products (3 general categories; each requires a signed data use agreement)

Statewide coverage of special status plant and animal occurrences	$5,000
Statewide coverage of community occurrences, managed areas (e.g., RNA, ACEC, Special Interest Area, etc.), and conservation sites	$5,000
Statewide coverages of both (a) and (b) above	$10,000

Fee adjustments

Cooperators: Cooperators are partners who provide the Idaho CDC with site-specific information on special status plants, special status animals, plant communities, managed areas, and conservation sites. Typically, these partners are charged significantly reduced fees, depending on the nature of the cooperative agreement.

Nonprofit Organizations: Nonprofit organizations will not be charged at the same rate as for-profit partners. Nonprofits should contact the Idaho CDC to discuss the nature of their request and appropriate fees.

Annual Subscription: The Idaho CDC databases are dynamic. In order to ensure their data are current, partners should consider paying an annual fee to receive regular GIS exports for their project planning purposes.

Many of the IDCDC reports are available in PDF format on this web site. Please check the appropriate web pages before placing an order.
Hard copies. Orders under 100 pages are not charged.
Hard copies. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game charges $0.10 per page and can recover labor costs if the documents exceed 100 pages or if the time required to locate and copy the documents exceeds 2 hours.
