Martha is the nongame biologist for the southeast region. She has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University and a M.S. from Idaho State University. She has worked for Idaho Department of Fish and Game as a Volunteer Coordinator, Landowner Sportsman Relations Coordinator (depredation biologist) and Habitat Biologist.

The current emphasis of the nongame program in the southeast region is to conduct surveys for amphibians, reptiles and bats and to monitor the region's nesting pelican population and work with fisheries biologists to understand and reduce impacts to native fish. Up-coming projects include conducting pygmy rabbit surveys in the region.
