Access: Year-round. Access free of charge.

Site Location

Directions: 0.5 mi E of Lava Hot Springs Resort on US 30, at "Sportsman’s Access" sign (follow signs), L (N) onto Blaser Hwy; see map below for 3 access areas along river and 1 access area at Chesterfield Reservoir.

Description: Hundreds of American Coot and Mallard can be seen at Chesterfield Reservoir during fall migration. When water levels drop, the eastern portions contain abundant waterfowl.
